Privacy Policy

CleverSteps is a parent-guided early-learning application provided by NinetySix Technologies LLC. We designed it to minimize the information needed to deliver the experience.

Information stored on your device

A child nickname, birth date, preferred learning language, and activity completion history are stored locally on the device to create age-matched plans and show progress. Parents may use a nickname rather than a legal name.

Information we do not require

The core CleverSteps experience does not require a child’s photograph, voice recording, precise location, contact list, advertising identifier, or full legal name. CleverSteps does not include third-party advertising.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple provides transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock Premium; CleverSteps does not receive your complete payment-card details.

Children and parental use

CleverSteps is intended for parents and caregivers to use with children. Purchases and settings are placed behind a parental gate. The app is not designed for children to create accounts or submit personal information.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. Because the current app stores the learning profile locally, it does not transmit that profile to NinetySix Technologies for advertising or data brokerage.

Deletion

Deleting the app removes its locally stored CleverSteps profile and activity history. Apple manages purchase records and subscriptions under the parent’s Apple Account.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Questions may be sent through the CleverSteps support page.
